NT CHAMPIONSHIPS OPENED UP

02 Jun 2015

Karting Australia has confirmed the 2015 Northern Territory Championships will be open for competitors from all across the country to enter.

The decision provides Karting NT with the best opportunity to host a successful event with increased numbers.

“Due to the limited number of licence holders in Northern Territory, Karting Australia has allowed interstate competitors to enter the Championships to ensure the event is significant successes,” said Karting Australia CEO Kelvin O’Reilly.

“Both Karting NT and the Darwin Club are working hard on putting on great events and we will do everything we can to assist them with making the Championships successful.

“We look forward to seeing drivers from various parts of the country support this event in special parts of Australia.”

The Championships will be a single-event affair to be held in Darwin on July 11/12.  It will also feature a ‘Dash for Cash’ where $9,000 in cash will be shared amongst the podium finishers.  For the first time ever the KZ3 class will also be contested around the Hidden Valley circuit.

The Supplementary Regulations for the Northern Territory Championships will be available shortly and posted onto karting.net.au
